We had a fabulous visit with the Fleischauers at the cabin last month. It was restful and eventful at once! We spent a lot of time in the great outdoors. We miss you already, Fs! See you SOON for the shower!

On the Farm

Jack and I had a lovely mother-son trip to Snover, Michigan. We visited with sweet childhood friends, attended my cousin Charlie's wedding and chilled out on the farm. Snover is like Heaven on Earth (but with only dial-up internet!) It was a restful time of listening to the birds, strawberry picking, and watching the grass grow. God is great! What a wonderful home away from home. Miss you already, mom and dad! Here are a few photos of Jack on the farm. He's a country boy for sure.

Cabin fever

We spent Memorial Day weekend up at the cabin. Uncle Mike and Aunt Krissy were able visit with us on their way home from the Georgia Coast! We grilled out, had a campfire and told ghost stories under the moon. Y'all come back now, ya hear?

Harper's First Birthday

Fun was had by all at Harp's birthday party. She looked like a dream in her traditional Korean garment. Highlights include relaxing on the deck, dining on delicious Korean BBQ and watching Harper savor her first pink frosted cupcake. We love you, sweet girl!

Ocean's 1

Jack and I have been on Hilton Head Island for the past several days! We travelled with 4 other stay-at-home moms and their little ones for some fun in the sun and a change of scenery. Jack literally "ran" to the ocean (even over the hilly sand!) when he saw it for the first time. He laughed hysterically when the waves rushed over him at the shoreline. Looks like we have a mountain man AND a little fishy on our hands!
